Finding The Best California Chamber Orchestra Concerts

By John Barnes

Those who have never heard a professional ensemble play are really missing out. You will be amazed by the difference between those who are fully trained and those who are just community members trying their best. This is something you'll enjoy when you hear the California chamber orchestra.

When there are so many other types of music out there, not to mention different ways to listen in which the people creating the music don't get paid nearly as much, it is hard for people who have trained their whole life to play a certain type of music to find work sometimes. This can be incredibly frustrating and limiting as far as what you do with your life and career. That is why it is a great thing that California has this chamber orchestra, so that working musicians from across the state can get into a terrific paid position.

The season that this group plays generally is comprised of four concerts, so you will have that many opportunities to catch them annually before it is time for the next season to start. It is definitely nice to know that there is such a regular and ongoing active schedule, making it so you don't have to worry about catching every single one. There will always be another chance to catch them playing, but why not make it this time?

If you're trying to catch one of these shows, the place you are probably looking for would be the Old Town Temecula Community Theater. This is the place where most of these concerts are held. It is very rare that they do shows in other places, but it does happen.

Some people aren't quite sure what distinguishes a chamber orchestra from other ensembles. They may have heard terms like Philharmonic and symphony thrown around, but not know what those are either. Simply put, the latter are both generally larger than the kind of group we are talking about here.

This group is incredibly flexible with what they can play. The earliest type of music they do is early Baroque, and then that goes into Classical. From there, they play all the way into the contemporary styles as well, which can be a surprise for some to hear.

This sometimes makes an ideal romantic date. Whether you are just getting started as a couple or you have been going out for a long time, there is nothing like appreciating beauty together. You might find yourself feeling closer just by sitting next to each other and hearing the amazing sounds.

It is always nice to bring your friends along on this sort of thing. That way, you can all talk about what you thought of the show afterward. This can be a valuable part of appreciating and immersing yourself in the music.
