Getting The Best Paint And Drink Jersey Shore Taverns And Pubs Offer For A Great Night Out

By Diane McDonald

Having a fun night out, for many people on the Jersey Shore, means traipsing from bar to bar and having to take a cab or hitch a ride home. There are also many people who are, more and more, taking advantage of a fun and creative evening out that still has drinking involved. This is accomplished by visiting one of the bars, taverns or other establishments that offers a class dealing with a class for fun paint and drink Jersey Shore homeowners have a ball at.

Many of the same taverns, bars, and pubs will be the locations of these parties, so it will be fairly easy to find one. These classes run about two or three hours, so it is not a big piece of your night out and it could be the least expensive time you have spent away from home. It also will be the most creative.

You will see posters that are hanging on the walls of your favorite watering hole. These will indicate the presence of these classes and when and at what time. You might be able to notice a particular pattern of these parties. You will see they may be thrown on similar days each week or month. Many people schedule their month this way in order to show off to friends and neighbors what they have found just right down the street from their neighborhood.

Other items of interest, listed, is the selection of wine that will be served. The cost of the evening will include everything you need to paint an image and the drinks. Some classes will even offer soda or beer, while a few might offer something stronger.

What will be happening at this event is the important thing to most people. The attendees will be doing something they may have never done before. They are learning something they may have been afraid of. They will accomplish something that they have not thought about before.

Everyone is painting the same image. This image may be surrealistic. It could be a high tone image, such as portraiture. It could be a scene from just around the corner or one that is visited in another country. It could be a dark representation of what the local artist, who will be hosting the evening, thinks about the world as well.

The classes are all conducted much the same. The attendees will filter in and find their easel. The canvass might already be placed on the rail. The drinks will be made available on a side table and brushes, paint, scrapers as well as cloths and other tools will be passed out. The artist will display the image to be worked on and discuss various intricacies with it.

After a demonstration of the technique they used to achieve a certain look, color, or effect, the class begins heir interpretation of the same image. The artist will move through the class and help as they see it is needed. The drinks, such as wine is available throughout the class so that it will help everyone meet new people and loosen up for creative fun.
