Discover A Beautiful World In Living Color Through NY Travel Photographer

By Selena Chery

Many talented photographers reside in New York City. Undoubtedly, they have pointed a camera at the Empire State Building, the Great White Way and the horses pulling carts through Central Park. A NY Travel Photographer may be sent on assignment to photograph exotic place in the world. When he returns they can be shared with others.

Photographers fly off to distant lands to capture shots of volcanoes about to erupt. They allow everyone to see places they never heard of before. They bring back scenery most Americans would not know existed without the pictures they take.

Those without a lot of money cannot afford to tour overseas lands in foreign countries. Of course, there are beautiful sights right here at home. However, it is exciting to travel to faraway places by turning the pages in a coffee table book or the National Geographic. It is an opportunity to see the old castles in Scotland.

Most people have heard of the Tower of London and the waterways of Venice. Not many have explored the streets of Old Jerusalem where three major religions worship in close proximity. Pictures take them to the Wailing Wall, the grave of Jesus and beautiful mosques that are there.

A talented world class photographer can almost make one feel the sand between his toes with a sunrise shot of a white sand tropical beach in Jamaica. Journeys of a traveling photographer take him to frigid Alaska to capture pictures of polar bears. His next trip may take him to Kenya and the rain forest where the diminishing number of gorillas reside. Shots may include native Alaskans in their fur parkas and Kenyan school children in the uniforms they wear to school.

He may be taking pictures to promote a cause such as saving the habitat of gorillas. He may show a happy family of tourists riding horseback on a mountain trail. All the photographs brought back to New York can be published for the everyday citizen to see and learn about places they might not otherwise know exist.
